YOU DID IT! You are officially on the move… Even though it isn’t the traditional crawl, you have mastered the worm. You slap both hands, as hard as you can, on the floor and pull yourself forward. The first few days you didn’t go very far but we know in no time you will be all over.
“George, where are you?” Yes, we were right! You crawl at the speed of lightening… We have quickly baby proofed the house and just when we think there isn’t anything you can get into, I find you eating something mysterious off of the floor. We also realize how dirty our carpet is… SInce you don’t get up on your knees, the belly part of your shirt attracts all of the dirt from the floor. Disgusting that our carpets are that dirty! We are having so much fun watching you explore everything around the house.
Mommy recently discovered that you like to play hide and seek with your toys. I was holding a small toy in my left hand and I covered it up. You immediately pulled my hand away and removed the toy from my left hand and placed it in my right, where I did the same thing, and you continued doing this for almost five minutes. Mommy was overjoyed that you could understand what to do. Might be a small achievement but anything you do for the first time is amazing to Mommy and Daddy.
We were beginning to broaden your appetite with foods like pizza, chicken, cous cous, broccoli, etc… One food that you weren’t particularly fond of was pancakes?!? We will work on that!
