We went to watch Matthew play in a football game. It was so windy and cold so Mommy snuggled you under tons of blankets. You stayed so warm and you loved sleeping on my chest. After the game we were heading to the Twin Cities to visit Grandma and Grandpa Wiebold. First, we stopped at Gustavus, where your Daddy went to college. Also, your Mommy and Daddy were married at the Chapel on campus. It was Homecoming weekend and Daddy’s five year college reunion. We were able to introduce you to your Godfather, Adam and his Fiancé, Mary. Mommy had you in the Baby Bjorn so you were pretty cozy and slept through most of the introductions.
Once we arrived at Grandma and Grandpa Wiebolds we had a number of visitors who came to see you, in fact the entire Wiebold side came. Martha and Claudia loved holding you and couldn’t get over how much you looked like your Daddy. You were pretty tired out that evening so you and Mommy went to bed early. Grandma Linda had to go to school the next day so we decided to take you to meet the staff and her class at Redeemer Lutheran. This is the same school that your Daddy went to when he was younger. The teachers and children loved meeting you finally, since Grandma Linda has talked about you so much.
