I can’t believe how time has flown. I feel like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating our first Christmas with you! Mommy and Daddy decided to make you an activity table for Christmas. We filled it with all kind of sensory toys that you could play with. Daddy worked hard on measuring and building the table, while Mommy stained it. We can’t wait to use it outside and fill it with sand or water.

We were looking forward to going to Des Moines for Christmas Day! It had been a long time since our family was able to be together and it was your first time celebrating with us. The whole weekend wore us all out, but we were so thrilled to relax with family. Santa was so good to you!!!

Christmas time was rapidly approaching and it was time to introduce you to Santa Claus. We took you on a horse drawn sleigh in Faribault, where we could sing songs and look at the beautiful Christmas lights. When we arrived to go meet Santa there wasn’t a big crowd, which seemed like the perfect place to meet the big guy for the first time. You held on to Mommy’s hand tightly, as you walked slowly towards Santa and Mrs. Claus! It wasn’t until you were placed on Santa’s lap, that the tears began to flow. We snapped a few pictures and I am sure someday you will find a little more humorous!
